Instal DU Meter 5.04.
Sebelum finish instalasi silahkan uncek Run Now DU Meter untuk mencegah software Run setelah instalasi selesai dilakukan.
Buka Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del) untuk windows XP atau pada Windows 7 klik kanan taskbar, pilih start task manager.
Pada Windows task manager, klik Tab Processes, klik “DUMeterSVC.exe”, lalu klik
End Processes

Jalankan Crack, klik “crack”, muncul “Can not find the file” Search the file ? carilah file “DUmeter.exe” yang dimaksud di folder instalasi software tersebut, defaultnya seperti di bawah ini, kecuali sobat merubahnya, dobel klik “DUmeter.exe” tersebut.

IDM adalah merupakan software Download Accelerator, berfungsi untuk mempercepat proses download. Dengan menggunakan IDM anda dapat mendownload dengan kecepatan yang jauh lebih cepat dari kecepatan download dari fasilitas brows dan jarang terjadi kegagalan dalam mendownload.
Untuk menggunakan IDM secara optimal ada beberapa setting yang perlu anda lakukan dalam aplikasi tersebut antaralain

A. Menenpatkan Hasil Download Anda

Untuk mengamankan komputer maka banyak komputer yang menggunakan virtual System seperti deepfreeze, dimana system windows yang biasanya di drive C dikunci sehingga apapun yang tersimpan, di copy atau diinstall pada drive C tersebut maka saat komputer di restart akan hilang. Saat menginstall IDM maka seluruh hasil download akan tersimpan di folder My Documen dan didalam folder Download.

Agar hasil download secara otomatis tersimpan di dalam folder partisi yang tidak dilindungi oldeh Deepfreeze seperti drive D:, E; anda dapat melakukan cara seperti berikut

Non aktifkan terlebih dahulu Deepfreeze anda.
Install software IDM
Setelah IDM terinsinstall, buka aplikasi IDM, lalu klik menu Download
Kemudian klik menu Option
Lalu klik tab Save to
Anda dapat mengatur tempat penyimpanan pada partisi lain seperti D, atau E dengan cara membuat folder dengan nama Download lalu klik pilihan dari Category, kemudian arahkan tempat penyimpanannya di folder pada partisi yang anda tentukan pada Default Download directory, dengan mengklik tombol Brows dan arahkan ke folder yang telah anda buat.

B. Mensetting Internet

Fungsi ini gunanya, bila koneksi internet anda terputus saat sedang mendownload, maka settingan ini berfungsi bila internet anda terhubung kembali maka secara otomatis akan konek tampa harus login.

Cara mensetting

Pada menu Download klik tab Dial Up
Pada Conection Option, isi dengan Nama koneksi anda, User Name dan Pasword.
Setelah selesai klik Ok.

C. Mensetting Kecepatan Internet

Sesuaikan kecepatan internet anda dengan aplikasi IDM untuk mengoptimalkan hasil download anda caranya :

Dari menu Download klik tab Conection
Kemudian pada bagian Conection Type Speed, pilih status kecepatan koneksi anda, anda harus memilih yang se suai dengan kecepatan koneksi internet anda.
Setelah selesai mensetting klik Ok.

D. Membatasi Kecepatan Download

Bila anda membagi internet anda (share Internet) ke komputer lain dan di masing-masing komputer diinstall software IDM, anda dapat menentukan kecepatan download Internet masing-masing komputer, Caranya

Klik menu tab Downloads, kemudian klik menu Speed Limeter, kemudian pilih Setting
Akan muncul jendela baru
Pda lokasi Maximum download speed for one file anda dapat mengatur kecepatannya
Anda dapat mencentrang 3 kotak pilihan sesuai dengan keinginan anda
Setelah selesai klik Ok.
Kemudian klik lagi menu Download dan klik menu Speed Limeter, pilih Turn on untuk mengaktifkan settingan anda.
